In February 2001, Peter, Hus and Roy Sali were introduced to Wolfgang Hoezle when they were both performing at the opening of the Tokyo Doitsumura in Chiba. During the event they did play a few songs together. This was the start of a friendship that has already lasted 25 years. It's also the start of Woho and Kalendar Band. Their music covers a broad spectrum, you name it, they'll try and play it. Their forte is German Austrian Oktoberfest music. In their act they incorporate, cowbells, swiss horn, schuplattler, and anything else they think the audience will enjoy. In the early years they performed at small events mainly around the Yokohama Tokyo area. In 2011 they first performed at the Yokohama Oktoberfest at Akarenga. This has proved a turning point as now they are in demand all around Japan for big Oktoberfests. They regularly go to, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Sendai, Nagasaki and more recently Miyazaki and Kumomoto. Together they have formed a strong bond which hopefully keep them going for many years to come.
2001年2月、

サリ兄弟3人と、
ハイディーは、
「東京ドイツ村」の
オープニングイベントに
出演した際、
ヴォルフガング・ヘルツレ（Woho）と出会いました。
イベントで数曲を共に演奏し、これが25年にも及ぶ友情の始まりとなりました。
そしてそれは、
「Woho & Kalendar Band」の
結成のきっかけにも
なりました。
彼らの音楽は非常に幅広い
ジャンルを網羅しており、
あらゆるリクエストに応えて
演奏に挑戦します。
特に得意とするのは、
ドイツやオーストリアの
オクトーバーフェスト・ミュージックです。
ステージでは、カウベルや
スイスホルン、シュープラットラー（伝統的な民族舞踊）
などを取り入れ、観客が
楽しめる演出を積極的に
行っています。
活動初期は、主に東京・横浜エリアのドイツイベントに
出演していました。
2011年には、横浜赤レンガ
倉庫で開催される
「横浜オクトーバーフェスト」に出演しました。
これが大きな転機となり、
現在では各地の主要な
「オクトーバーフェスト」での
演奏につながっています。
金沢、広島、仙台、長崎、
そして近年では宮崎や熊本など
でも演奏をお届けしています。
メンバー間には強固な絆が
築かれており、今後も末永く活動を続けていきます。
